Tich is a European Business Excellence Assessor and Leader for Excellence certified by EFQM (European Foundation for Quality), Balanced Scorecard Practitioner certified by The Balanced Scorecard Institute in conjunction with the George Washington University, USA. and has over 20 years’ working experience in the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality field, 15 of which were in senior management. He is very comfortable with operational excellence, having worked in the manufacturing industry for fifteen years. He has the passionate belief that doing what one enjoys, coupled with teamwork; innovation and an open mind are the key ingredients for excellence.

 

Tich has worked in the Environmental Health and Safety field with local authorities, helping a variety of organisations and the public before joining the private sector, mainly in the manufacturing sector where he worked in various capacities from middle management to senior management levels.

 

He has had the opportunity to set up the Safety Health Quality and Environmental departments from scratch and proceeding to develop certified management systems for entities of different sizes within his 12 months of joining such companies and in one instance within three months of joining them.

 

He has worked as Works Manager overseeing SHEQ, Production and Engineering culminating in world-class manufacturing standards, taking advantage of the above competencies and took part in the designing and implementation of a new concrete tile plant as well as modifications of various machines and production processes.
He also helped several companies on a part time basis with, auditing, SHE Legal assessments and gap analysis audits in collaboration with full time consultants.

Tich was a Counsellor of the Business Council for Sustainable Development for over 10 years and chaired the Technical Committee on Climate Change before receiving a certificate of recognition for his outstanding work for the BCSDZ in 2012.
